After a disastrous campaign in World cup 2015, where England was knocked out of the tournament in the group stages itself, they started playing a new brand of cricket of cricket with a new bunch of players in the mix.

Strengths:
1. Explosive Batting Line-up:
Likes of Jason Roy, Jos Buttler, Johnny Bairstow, Joe Root have redefined the batting style in ODI cricket. England has consistently posted huge totals in recent times.

Their batting goes deep and this young side plays fearless cricket. Even their No.9 & No.10 batsmen can come in and smash the ball. That’s a huge advantage in my opinion.

2. Great All-Round Options:
England has almost all the bases covered on the side. In batting front, no questions are required to be asked and as they are a young side, the fielding also has been really good. On the bowling front, Jofra’s inclusion will make a huge difference for them!

And when it comes to All-rounders, they have plenty of them. Ben Stokes, Moeen Ali, Liam Dawson all are really genuine all-rounders.

Weaknesses:
Bowling Line-up:
It’s not a huge hole in the team but yes, this is not the best bowling line-up of the tournament either.

They have added in Jofra Archer who will be their X-Factor in the world cup 2019 but other than him, who are the other bowlers who will excite the cricket fans or scare the opposition?

Tom Curran, Liam Plunkett & Mark Wood all are good bowlers but still considering it as the world cup, this team’s bowling attack is not the strongest.

Team’s X-FACTOR?
The team is filled with match winners but when we talk about the X-Factor, only one name comes to my mind. That’s Jos Buttler!!

He has been in sensational form for any team that he has played for and is the best middle order batsman in the world cup 2019. His explosive cameos in the middle can be the difference between winning and losing matches.

For England to have a good World cup 2019, Jos Buttler has to perform with the bat when his team requires him the most.

Expected Playing XI:
1. Jason Roy
2. Johnny Bairstow
3. Joe Root
4. Eion Morgan
5. Ben Stokes
6. Jos Buttler
7. Moeen Ali
8. Chris Woakes
9. Jofra Archer
10. Tom Curran
11. Adil Rashid

Seriously?! Even their No.11 can score a half-century against a good bowling line-up!!

Bench:
12. Liam Plunkett
13. James Vince
14. Joe Denly
15. Liam Dawson

Where will England finish in world cup 2019?
England is playing a different brand of cricket altogether with new and explosive players in the team after a bad world cup 2015 and now are the clear favorites to win the world cup 2019. They are making the semi-finals for sure and we may see England and India in the finals!
